Thanks for your interest in learning more about me! As a first-generation American, I have learned the value of hard work, critical thinking, and creative problem-solving. From a young age, I was taught to think twice about decisions and now I harness those skills when designing to keep my bias and opinions in check. What matters is observable, which can be based on behaviors or feedback given from people using a product or service.
Because I've worked with people with disabilities, I value creating accessible and inclusive designs. I take these perspectives I've gained and apply them to decision-making, in order to strike a balance between both user and business needs. Naturally, there are constraints that we have to work with, I saw every family that I worked with deal with this. Advocacy is important for these families because the world is not always ready to support their special needs. I believe design is no different and I am energized by trying to find a solution that works for everyone.
I have a collection of things I'd like to work on and I am especially interested in the topics of mental health, gaming, behavior, habit change, and learning.
